About

Hi, I’m Karen Monnier!
Your trail guide to living authentically—and doing more than just exist.
Welcome to Trailblaze Your Way, where we toss out the “shoulds” and get real about what it means to be yourself. If you’re wondering if I’m always in camo and hiking boots, the answer is a resounding yes (and don’t worry—no dress codes required here).
How I Got Here (Hint: Lots of Wrong Turns) Like many, I used to feel weighed down by society’s “must-dos” and “don’t even think about its.” You know the ones—dress up, act serious, aim for success by squeezing into uncomfortable shoes. After years of trying to fit into that mold, I realized I wasn’t made for tiny boxes. It was time to ditch the suit (okay, I never actually owned one) and figure out what real success looked like—for me.
My Philosophy (A Little Different from the Usual) Here’s what I believe: Success doesn’t care if you’re in a suit, sweats, or that oversized hoodie you’ve had for a decade. What matters is showing up fully as yourself, quirks and all. We’re not here to fit some outdated blueprint; we’re here to blaze our own trails, mismatched socks and all. I like to think of it as a journey that’s a little messy, definitely unique, and 100% ours.
Why I Created Trailblaze Your Way
I know I’m not the only one who’s a bit tired of measuring success by “looking the part” or ticking off someone else’s boxes. This space is for people ready to let go of the “shoulds” and get curious about what life could look like when it’s built on authenticity. Plus, who doesn’t want a place where showing up as you are is not only accepted but encouraged? No ties, no heels—just your own path forward.
What You’ll Find Here (Besides My Rambles) I’m here to share tools, insights, and a few laughs to make your journey a little easier (or at least more fun). Whether it’s blog posts, downloadable guides, or one-on-one chats, my mission is to help you feel lighter, more confident, and ready to show up in the world as you are.
How to Get Started Feel free to explore the blog, dive into our “Tools for the Trail,” or schedule a free Fireside Chat (think of it as a cozy chat by a virtual campfire, no marshmallows required). I’m here to help, and let’s face it—trailblazing is more fun with a friend.
See you on the trail,
Karen Monnier
